Delaware County Wellness Professionals is hosting "Introducing the Web of Support" on Wednesday, March 10, 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
What makes someone successful? Is it possible to look at characteristics in their life and predict their success? What if I told you that the love and support someone feels is a better predictor of their success than their race, income, gender or family composition?
The Web of Support has invested decades and millions of dollars into researching and applying a holistic framework of love and connection for youth and is now preparing to expand to support communities and workplaces in helping adults thrive. Join us as we introduce the Web of Support framework, what it means to see in full color, and ways that you can strengthen your life and the lives of those around you through intentional connection and support.

Three Indiana Chapters Conducting Virtual SHRM Certification Testing Study Groups
THREE (3) Indiana chapters have confirmed VIRTUAL study groups are available to those OUTSIDE of their traditional membership footprint.
NWI SHRM – anyone who is interested should contact Barbara Black directly ([email protected] or 219-617-6109) so she can coordinate their registration at their NWI membership rate ($785*). The study group meets for nine (9) Saturdays from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm CT; August 22 – October 24 (no class on September 5)
IndySHRM – anyone who is interested should contact Alona Bahler directly ([email protected] or 765-714-3630) so she can coordinate their registration at their IndySHRM membership rate ($875*)...or get them to join your local chapter and then register for the IndySHRM study group at the membership rate*. The study group meets for 11 Tuesdays from 5:45 pm - 8:15 pm ET; September 8 – November 17
SISHRM – anyone who is interested should contact Lea Bottorff directly ([email protected] or 812-399-9597) so she can coordinate their registration ($600 for National SHRM members*; $800 for non-National SHRM members*) The study group meets for 10 Wednesdays from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm ET; September 16 – November 18 *Connect with specific contact listed to confirm study group price given situation/scenario

Jennifer Randall, Employer Relations Assistant at the Ball State University Center, recently sent the following message:
"I would like to thank you for volunteering your time in the past to assist with the Practice Interview Program at Ball State University. We truly value your time and your donation has not been taken for granted. I would like to invite you back to help with this semester’s program March 16th through April 2nd. On average this program works with 400 students per semester. We could not have this kind of success without the generosity from people like you.

Tammy Bjelland is the founder and CEO of Workplaceless, an elearning company that provides remote work training to workers, leaders, and organizations. After 15 years of working in higher education, edtech, publishing, and corporate training, she founded Workplaceless in 2017 to provide learning and development resources specifically designed for remote professionals.
Laurel Farrer is a Distributed Operations Consultant that collaborates with the world's top remote-friendly companies to strengthen virtual communication, streamline digital processes, and develop long-distance management strategies. She also writes about remote work for several online publications and education platforms, and advises US governments, business conferences, and industry associations on how to share remote work resources with their audiences to stimulate economic growth.
Jeffrey Moss is the Founder and CEO of Parker Dewey LLC, a company focused on addressing the challenges associated with college-to-career transitions through Micro-Internships.
Jeffrey previously served as Chief of Enterprise Growth at Educational Testing Service (ETS) where his efforts focused on the use of assessment to drive equity in education and employment. Jeffrey spent much of his career as a venture capital investor with Summit Partners, Sterling Partners, and Susquehanna Growth Equity, supporting technology-enabled organizations in the education, business services, and software sectors. Some of his investments include Connections Education (acquired by Pearson), Ashworth College, Progressus Therapy (acquired by Invo HealthCare), Fleetcor (NYSE: FLT), ProClarity (acquired by Microsoft), Avectra (acquired by Abila), and The SAVO Group.
Jeffrey currently serves on the Indiana University Kelley School of Business Alumni Board and the Purdue University College of Liberal Arts Dean's Advisory Council. Jeffrey's other Board responsibilities have included: Chairman of the Board of Workstream (Nasdaq: WSTM), a software provider for human resources departments; OneGoal, a non-profit focused on college accessibility and persistence; the Chicago American Marketing Association; and the Illinois Venture Capital Association.
