Calendar of Events
July membership meeting info:
Topic: Recruiting Best Practices
Facilitators: ECIHRA board and membership
The signs are everywhere: “Now Hiring,” “Earn up to $18 an hour,” and “Open Interviews on…” Starbucks on McGalliard Rd. had to cut their hours due to scheduling and staffing issues. If Starbucks had to do that, what kind of pinch are the rest of us in? Clearly there is a talent crunch and economists believe it is not only because of federal stimulus dollars added to unemployment.
Join us as we look at some of the data and share ideas to help one another meet the various hiring needs we have. Regular members are welcome but this is a great session for your recruiters and others in your organization to join as well!
We are going back to in-person in August!
Topic: Indiana SHRM: Great Ideas – Great People!
Facilitators: ECIHRA board and membership
ECIHRA will be back in person for the first time since March 2020! We’ll be able to reconnect and share things we’ve learned over the last year, best practices we picked up from vendors and programs at the annual state-wide SHRM conference, and celebrate the fact that we can be back in person! Lunch will be $15 and we require a minimum of 15 people who eat lunch to attend. A Zoom option may be available, pending technology and lunch RSVPs.
To protect those who are not yet vaccinated, including young children and medically vulnerable visitors, Minnetrista still requires patrons and staff to wear masks inside our buildings. Once seated in the meeting room, masks may be removed.
